About Us
We publish a free, modern browser version of ping pong — a fast top-down table tennis game with real ball physics, spin, cross-table angles, and three AI opponents.
Our craft
One ball. One rally at a time.
Read the ball, get behind it, and place the return where the opponent is not. That loop is everything we design around.

What we make
pingponggame.app is the site behind our version of ping pong. The product is a single-player table tennis game played from above: slide your paddle to rally the ball across the net, add spin and pace with how you move on contact, and be the first to 11 points with a two-point lead.
We are not an app-store publisher and there is nothing to download. The game is the website. That keeps load times short, works on phones and desktops alike, and avoids an account wall. Matches, points, longest rally, fastest win, and streaks live in local browser storage on your device.
If you are comparing this to another ping pong site, this page only speaks for pingponggame.app. The rules, controls, and difficulty levels described in our how-to-play guide and FAQ match this exact build.
Our story
Table tennis has one of the clearest lineages of any modern sport. We treat that as a reason to keep the scoring honest and the friction close to zero.
Table tennis began in England in the 1880s as an after-dinner pastime for the middle classes, played across a row of books with a champagne cork for a ball and cigar-box lids for bats. Manufacturers sold kits under names like “Whiff-Whaff”, “Gossima”, and the onomatopoeic “Ping-Pong”, which was a registered trademark.
The International Table Tennis Federation formed in 1926 and ran the first World Championships in London the same year. The hard bat gave way to sponge-and-rubber blades in the 1950s, rallies got faster, and in 1988 table tennis became an Olympic sport. The modern game is scored to 11 points, win by two.
pingponggame.app is an independent, modern take on that game for the browser. It reads from a top-down view so both paddles and the whole table are visible at once, keeps the 11-point scoring and two-point margin, and adds a physics model — pace, spin, wall angles — plus three AI opponents and a layout that fits a phone screen.
What we stand for
Open the page and a table is ready. No account wall, no download, no splash video — pick an opponent and serve.
The ball carries your paddle’s speed, spin comes from brushing across it, and the side walls are in play. Everything on the table exists to make the rally feel right.
Matches, points, longest rally, fastest win, and win streak per difficulty live on your device. There is no login, because there is nothing to log in to.
The whole game is free forever. No energy meters, no interstitial video ads between points, no paywall on the harder opponents.
Who it is for
pingponggame.app is a family-friendly, single-player game with no chat and no store. A poor fit if you want online multiplayer; a good fit if you want a fast, physical game of table tennis on whatever screen is nearby.
A match takes two to five minutes. Ping Pong is built for a phone on the couch or a browser tab between tasks, not a long campaign.
The controls are simple, but placement, pace, and spin reward practice. The gap between Casual and Champion is real.
Your record stays on the device you played on. That is a deliberate trade: instant play and real privacy, with no cloud restore.
Why this site
There are hundreds of ping pong games online. This one exists to ship a single fast, honest version — real physics, three difficulties, correct scoring, and no clutter.
The ball inherits your paddle’s velocity, picks up spin from a sideways brush, and ricochets off the solid side walls. Angles and pace are things you create, not preset animations.
Casual, Pro, and Champion change the opponent’s reach, reaction time, and power, and how hard the rally accelerates. Each keeps its own stats so progress on one does not flatter the others.
No auto-playing video, no fake “install our app” banners, no dark patterns around the settings. The how-to-play guide and FAQ describe this exact engine, not a generic write-up.
How we build
The game runs entirely on the web: a fast canvas renderer, mouse / touch / keyboard controls, and progress that stays local unless you clear your browser data. We use lightweight analytics to see what helps players — never to gate the game behind a profile. The engine on the home page is the one described on our rules pages, so search results and the live game never drift apart.
Phone, tablet, and desktop share one table. Drag with a mouse or finger, or use the arrow keys and Space.
Matches, points, longest rally, fastest win, and streak per difficulty are stored locally. You own the continuity of your record without signing up.
We watch aggregate usage through Google Analytics to improve pacing and polish. Details are in our Privacy Policy — never as a sales pitch.
